General manager

Meiir Sheraly was born in 1988. In 2010, he graduated from the University of Manchester (UK), Faculty of Oil and Gas. In 2012, he graduated from Buketov Karaganda State University with a degree in Economics. He began his career at the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan and at the JSC “Oil and Gas Information and Analytical Center.”

From 2011 to 2022, he worked at Baker Hughes, where he held 14 positions, progressing from field drilling engineer to country director (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan). During this time, he successfully delivered major projects in Kazakhstan, Thailand, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, and other countries.

He has 15 years of experience in the oil sector, including 10 years in management across engineering/design, technical support, procurement, manufacturing, sales and business development, joint ventures, and asset management.

Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, English, and Turkish.

In 2022, he became Chairman of the Management Board of LLP “Samruk-Kazyna Ondeu,” where he continues to work. His responsibilities include developing and launching investment projects in the chemical industry, establishing partnerships, and fulfilling the strategic goals of JSC “Samruk-Kazyna.”

He is a member of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve and a recipient of the Bolashak international scholarship. He is also the author of an article for the Annual Caspian Technical Conference and SPE Exhibition (Azerbaijan).

On December 8, 2023, he was appointed General Director of QazaqGaz Research and Technical Center (R&D).

Deputy general manager for development and project management

Adlet Musahanov was born in 1987. In 2010 graduated from Montana Technological University (USA) faculty of petroleum engineering. In 2020 graduated from NARXOZ University specialty master’s degree business administrator.

He started his labor activity in 2010 in KMG Kashagan B.V. department specialist of construction and exploitation.

From 2011 to 2016 worked in NCOC company, where he went from analytics-engineer petroleum laboratory to supervisor of development support. From that period he participated in commissioning and commissioning various technological installation for oil & gas preparation CGTP “Bolashaq” and offshore objects.

In 2016 got into KMG Engineering company, where he had several management position in central office and regional office (advisor to the chairman of the board, director of the representative office in city of Kyzylorda, head of analytical research service of fields JSC “EmbaMunayGas”).

Has 14 years of work experience in petroleum sector, 9 of them management experience in exploitation area, development, geology of oilgas fields and active managements. Knows Kazakh, Russian, English languages.

Is scholar of international scholarship of president Kazakhstan Republic “Bolashaq”. Co-author of scientific journal articles “Oil gas ambassador”. Was representative of Astana section of petroleum engineer community (SPE) 2014-2016. Was presented with presidential award of international community SPE 2016 President’s award of section excellence and also certificate of honor and letter of thanks from chairman representative of KMG Engineering.

In february 7th 2024 was appointed Deputy general manager for development and project management “QazaqGas STC” (Scientific-technical center).
