Objective: To ensure QazaqGaz's scientific and technological leadership in geological exploration, gas field development, and underground gas storage (UGS) through innovative technologies, comprehensive data analysis, and effective resource management.

Main tasks:

• Increase in reserves and resources of QazaqGaz's subsurface assets;
• Enhancement of gas and condensate production rates;
• Expansion of existing UGS facilities and establishment of new underground gas storage sites.

Key projects:
1. Scientific and Technical Development and Efficiency Improvement of Production Assets:

• Comprehensive data analysis to optimize field development;
• Construction and maintenance of geological and hydrodynamic models for subsurface assets.

2. UGS Development:

• Capacity building in UGS and development of a dedicated database.

3. Digitalization and Automation:

• Scaling of the GeoQG system;
• Development of new data interpretation services.

4. Human Resources Policy:

• Recruitment of qualified specialists in geology and field development, drilling, modeling, and GIS.
