From 25 to 27 November 2025, the international SPE Annual Caspian Technical Conference was held in Baku, bringing together leading oil and gas industry experts from the Caspian region and around the world.

Ainura Zhanserkeyeva, Chief Project Manager of the Science and Innovation Development Department of QazaqGaz Science and Technology Center LLP, PhD, delivered a keynote presentation in the Innovations in Geoscience session titled: “Geological Aspects of Underground Gas Storage in Kazakhstan: Current State and Perspectives.”

The paper was prepared jointly with Venera Turmukhamedova, Manager of the Department for the Operation of Underground Gas Storage Facilities of Intergas Central Asia JSC (a subsidiary of «NC «QazaqGaz» JSC), as part of the approbation of works on geological support for underground gas storage.

The organizers of the international SPE conference recognized the contribution of QazaqGaz Science and Technology Center LLP with a letter of appreciation for active participation and assistance in holding the event.

Participation in international scientific and technical conferences such as SPE contributes to strengthening the scientific and technological potential and enhancing the international image of QazaqGaz Science and Technology Center LLP as a competent industry center in the field of geological support for development, drilling, and underground gas storage.
