According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, 2025 is declared «The Year of Working Professions». In this regard, from 11 to 15 February in Astana was held a large-scale festival «City of working professions», where NC «QazaqGaz» JSC presented a number of equipment aimed at developing the skills of workers in the gas industry.

During the festival, QazaqGaz employees made presentations at gas distribution points, talking about the prospects of the gas industry, shared their personal experience of career development from labourer to manager, and told stories about saving lives in their profession. In addition, schoolchildren and students could take part in master classes on welding polyethylene pipes and test their knowledge in quizzes «What do I know about gas?» organised by QazaqGaz Scientific and Technical Center. These master classes were conducted by Nurlan Altybaev and Batima Askarova, masters of industrial training of STC. The most active guests of the festival received memorable personal gifts from QazaqGaz.

Participation in the festival «City of Working Professions» became an important initiative of the company to attract the attention of young people to working professions and demonstrate the importance of the gas industry in the life of society.
