From October 13 to 17, a training program for employees of the QazaqGaz group of companies was held in Astana under the course “Risk Management in O&G Development Projects” delivered by Eni Corporate University. The event was organized with the support of QazaqGaz Science and Technology Center LLP and aimed at an in-depth study of risk management processes in the oil and gas industry.

At the conclusion of the program, a certificate awarding ceremony took place, during which Adilzhan Nugmanov, Director of the Risk Management Department of NC QazaqGaz JSC, and Andrea Matarazzo, Head of Human Capital Development Department of Agip Karachaganak BV, delivered speeches.

During the course, participants became acquainted with modern methods and tools of risk management, and studied international practices and approaches to developing effective response strategies.

The training included lectures, practical exercises, case studies, and group discussions, allowing participants to consolidate their theoretical knowledge and apply it in practice.

The course was designed for managers and specialists with basic knowledge in project and risk management who seek to deepen their understanding of concepts, processes, and tools of risk management in the oil and gas sector.

This training became another important step toward enhancing the professional potential of QazaqGaz employees and implementing international standards of risk management in the company’s operations.
