From 14 to 18 October 2024, employees of QazaqGaz Group of Companies took a course on Total Project and Portfolio Management, organised under the agreement with Eni with the assistance of "QazaqGaz Scientific and Technical Centre" LLP.

At the grand opening of the training, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Geological Exploration Ulan Burkitov, as well as the Head of Eni in Kazakhstan Seger Hoijtink made a welcoming speech.

The aim of the programme was to deepen awareness of the role of projects in supporting strategic initiatives. Participants learnt the basics of risk management as well as the key processes required for successful project implementation.

The course includes theoretical and practical sessions aimed at exploring the relationship between resource management and effective programme implementation. The trainings are provided by international experts and qualified trainers from Corporate University of ENI, which ensures a high level of educational process and effective knowledge transfer. At the end of the course, all participants received international standard certificates from Eni Corporate University.

Jointly with Eni, it is planned to hold a practical course on "Exploration project workflow and risk assessment" and a course on "Asset Integrity Management System" in the future. More than 60 employees of QazaqGaz Group of Companies will participate in the educational programme.
