In 2023, JSC "NC "QazaqGaz" awarded nominal scholarships to students of the Institute of Geology and Oil and Gas named after. K. Turysov at Satbayev University, as well as the faculty of energy and oil and gas industry of KBTU. A competition was announced in which more than 110 people took part. In addition to the results of the competition, the average score of the student and participation in social and scientific activities were taken into account. Particular attention was paid to students from the socially vulnerable category.

On 2023 August 28, the Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC "QazaqGaz" Sanzhar Zharkeshov held a meeting with the holders of personal scholarships at the head office of the company. During the meeting, he congratulated the students, shared his experience, and wished the students a successful academic year.

"It is important that the domestic gas industry is replenished with highly qualified personnel. We have selected the best students to support their academic success. It is worth noting that the QazaqGaz nominal scholarship has become the largest for undergraduate students in Kazakhstan," said the head of the national company.

Based on the results of the selection competition and interviews, the commission selected 12 students for the 2023-2024 academic year.
